Go for royal carribean!!! I'm a veteran cruiser and i have checked out many cruise lines and royal is by far better than any other one i've been on! lots more to do and just the quality of the boat is better! If you've never been on a cruise before, check out http://www.tripadvisor.com, it has links to a bunch of different review sites that will help you make a decision! |

This guy joseph is right if you have a family then Carnival is the way to go. They really take care of the kids(all ages). Which tells you there will probably be more of them. Royal Caribbean is more relaxed mostly older crowd. But that doesnt mean fuddy duddies. They like to have fun too. They totally pamper you. My husband and I sailed on Royal Caribbean for our Honeymoon and have not stopped thinking about it since. We are planning on cruising this fall on Carnival with our children. |

Do you CARE about how many Kids are on the boat with You? If you DO, & you want a slightly more "Adult Oriented" Cruise- then go Royal Caribbean. If you DON'T, or if you're bringing your children with You- then go Carnival. Either way, Have a GREAT Time- & "Bon Voyage..." :) |

I'm 26 and I'm going on my second cruise with Carnival in May. I've looked into going on a cruise with Royal Caribbean but they have less selection of cruises & dates available.
As far as the kids factor if you go at a time when traditionally most kids are in school there there are very few kids. (last cruise we went on was also in May and the only kids we saw were ones that were under 5 years old or if they were teenagers they were not from America)
Carnival has more destinations especially in the caribbean (you would think that royal CARIBBEAN would have many to choose from and they do but most of them are 6 or 7 nights which can be VERY expensive)
Which ever you go on make sure it's not during hurricane season & have fun!! |

Carnival is better for younger adults or teenagers, but Rc is more fancy and adult oriented. |
