I suggest Carnival. They are my preferred carrier for cruises.

The amount you pay depends on the length of the cruise. I can tell you that we have a group going out in August on the Holiday out of Mobile Alabama. The cost of the five night cruise for four people in a cabin is approximately $1500.

This is not a bad deal when you consider all your food is paid for. There are activities daily for the whole family. My daughter who works in the agency with me loves to tell people "it is a family vacation together apart". This simply means you will have so much going on all over the ship, you probably won't see the kids except at meals or when you are on an island.

You can eat 24 hours per day. Pizza and salad on Lido deck. If you already got ready for bed, call room service. Wake at 6am and can't sleep? Go up to Lido and have sweet rolls and coffee until they get their buffet out. Then eat the buffet, and if you are still hungry, go down to the restaurant and eat breakfast again. When you get through there, they probably have lunch ready at the buffet on Lido. And for goodness sake don't miss the Captain's Cocktail Party or Formal Night in the restaurant. Free booze at the cocktail party and that night at dinner is lobster and prime rib. Can't decide which? Order both. Want two lobster tails? Order two.

In case you haven't noticed, I love cruising. I took five last year. Carnival is by far and above my favorite line and is the one we send the majority of our clients on.

Oh by the way, yes it is easy to get sick for some people, but not as easy as you might think. You are on a floating city, not a rowboat.......

I travel with them alot. I would say $1500 is a good round #
Sailing with carnival is great they will keep your teen agers entertained.

If you have never cruised get an ocean view room.
This will reduce sea sickness .

I just got back from a cruise, i went on the royal cribian. there was an arcade, ping pong, mini golf, the pool, ice skating, you got to play bingo, go to shows and more. they have an area for kids 12-16 just to hang out but i didnt do that because i went with my friends. i got a little sea sick. just in case i would bring some pills. have fun on your cruise1

On Carnival we have paid between 950 dollars for a three day cruise to 1400 dollars for a seven day in the fall or early winter. They are somewhat more expensive now. In the off season you would be looking at about 1300 for a five day, and 2200 for a seven day.

My kids loved it. They have a teen club with counselors. They give a list of all the planned activites every morning. If they did not want to go, they just wandered the ship, played in the arcade, or tried to hunt down the cruise director.

I have never gotten sea sick. On most ships, you can barely feel any movement. If you have a problem with motion sickness, I have been told that drinking lemon water will help it without all the side effects of medication.

don't know about costs because i didn't pay lol but i went on cunards QM2 and basically it was..... AMAZING! im 16 and my brother is 12 and we both enjoyed it loads so its not just for old people (although there was quite a few lol) theres a teen zone that has a programme of different activities everyday, theres a few swimming pools, a planetarium and cinema, theatre, computer rooms etc and it's not easy to get sick on cruise ships they are so massive! royal carribean is supposed to be really good too!

I'm currently getting ready to go on a carnival cruise out of Galveston tx never sailed with them before. But Disney Cruises are fun and great for a family since they r more for a family cruise then the other cruise esp for teenagers. But you should price shop for best cruise fares. or try crusiesonly website

omg u should tottaly go on carnival freedom. the whole trip wasnt that expensive. itwas about 1475 for 3 people and i went seven nights. and no i didnt get sick , including the food the drinks and the on shore excursions. we had an interior room on floor one.

on carnival freedom there are about 3 swimming pols(saltwater) a big water slide, a few jaccuzis (Not salt water) theres mini golf, volleyball and basketball place, club o2 where teenagers can get together and party, sometimes they have unsupervized parties late at night, there is a big movie screen on lido decl (floor nine) theres an arcade place with air hockey etc, they have a spa, they have a gym, and they have many decks where you can just lie down in the sun. they have great parties at night. there is also a band. in the daytime there is like hairy chest competitions, ice sculptures and shows at night. there are lots of jewelry/cozmetic/cloth stores on the ship carrying guess purses, roxy shirts and pants, suviners, guess ecko etc watches and lancome, clinique etc. there is also kareoke

allso the ship excursions are to cozumel maexico, grancayman/ cayman islands i dont remember, and ocho rios jamaica. in mexico, i went to the explore the island by jeep and go snorkling we also went to the mayan ruins. there are great shopping experiences for diamonds and there all pretty cheap. they have cool clothes too. but i dont think u should go snorkling in mexico, there private beach, cuz there really isnt much to see compared to cayman. and fi u go by jeep u need to have someone 21 or older driving a manual.

in cayman, the water is so pretty. i went to the stingray and coral reef place. its so pretty at the coral place cuz theres so much colourful fish and u got to go by boat, and the waves were way smaller than maxico. also the water is so blue and clear.

in jamaica we went to te dunns river falls nd the jungle place, it was really interesting to see the wildlife. ther was also a bird place were u get close up with them, i feed them and they come oon ure hand ns head. theres parrots nd other chickens and tropical bids.

Princess has a lot more class than carnaval and the food is a lot better. They have night clubs just for teens that adults can't go to. Many, many activities on ship too. They charge per person, not for the cabin. Go online to princess.com. It will tell you all you need to know.
