there's not a lot to do in freeport. maybe tour the island or go to the beach. there is lots of shopping to do in nassau. you can go to atlantis, which is well worth the cost, then go back to the ship and eat lunch, then go back shopping on the island. it is within walking distance from the port. be sure to take your driver's license with you though. you will need it the get back to the port to get back to your ship. there's always snorkeling or swimming with the stingrays(they take the barb off of the rays so they're harmless). or if you like, you don't have to do a thing but stay on the ship and let the staff wait on you. happy sailing!!!

Unless there is something that really excits you, walk around the towns.. Dont feel like you must take and excursion.just for the sake of it.

Go to Senor Frog's, it's fun. I went snorkeling, it was beautiful. I wanna go back, I'm jealous!

the bahammas diditn reall have any good ones i would go see atlantis just take a taxi i dont think there is a tour of it but you can go bye yourself then go walk around nassua go to the straw market there are tons of jewlrey shops there. so yeah

depends on what ports you are going to and what you like to do. most of the nassau excursions are eithor going to be beach or snorkling related. You can probably do better booking them on your own with private companies than you can with the cruise line. Have not been to freeport so I can't advise you on that.

Strolling the street of Nassau is good if you want to go shopping.
There are a myriad of excursions if you want to go snorkeling or go to a secluded beach. Do a search on the internet for that just to give you an idea. You can always take a taxi to Atlantis if you want to see something different.

I just return from a Bahamas Cruise.
Know matter what Cruise Line your sailing on. They well offer every type of sightseeing or excursion you can want.
Do not book in advance, wait until your their see what the weather is like.
Price for shore excursions bought on the ship are often less than you pay ahead of time.

don't worry the tour guides will bombard you when you get off the ship

you can get a tour at the port for around $25 per person for 2 hr and they are set you for you to see the best sites including Cable Beach and the Atlantis

after that the shopping is not too far and we just walk about to get to it and the Straw Market
