I prefer cruising is better because you are going to different countries and ports of call. If we stop at somewhere we really like on a cruise, we go there later for a holiday to explore the area properly.

The all inclusive resort is probably cheaper because you are paying for everything up front but if you go to a four or five star resort I would think that the cost is similar to that of a cruise.
On a cruise you are getting the cruise, your cabin and food up front, anything else that you do, trips, drinks etc: is extra and it can be pretty expensive.

I personally think that a cruise is better value overall because you are travelling on a four/five star hotel to different places and the food and service is excellent.
All inclusive resorts are good value, as long as you stay on the resort and use the facilities. If your are not on the resort then you are spending extra money.

Depends on where & want you are going on vacation for. I have been on 22 cruises with 3 set for this year. However when I go to Bermuda I stay at a resort because I have the whole island to explore. On a cruise everything ( food, room, transportation & entertainment) is included plus, you visit someplace new everyday. Resort or druise there are ways to cut costs but, when I go either way I do not look at the cost instead if it is something I would enjoy.
Hope this helps.
Also I live in an resort area so I am well aware of all the features it has to offer.

1. All inclusive is better because everything is all inclusive. And, you don't have to worry about sea-sickness.

2. Cruise is cheaper, but you'll have to pay for drinks.

3. If you plan to party and plan to drink a lot, all inclusive resort is of better value. There are usually more restaurant options in an all inclusive resort than a cruise.

I prefer a cruise because it is like being on a floating hotel and you get to visit different places. You can't compare the prices or the value because cruises and resorts vary in prices.

Depends on you really. I love cruises, although the average age is a little older than myself (I'm 29) so if you are looking to get crazy with a bunch of 20 somethings then your best bet is to head to an all inclusive in Cancun or something....Cruising allows you to relax without not making so many decisions like activities and dining. It's all right there. Which is cheaper? It depends on where you are going, the ship, and what you are comparing. I think cruises are the better value because you get to see more--IE--in December I went on a 7 day Southern Carribean cruise and saw 7 different places, if I would have jumped from resort to resort that would have been much for expensive!

I've been on 3 cruises so far and I feel it's a very good deal. You pay extra for alcohol, sodas, and shore excursions, but you can purchase a Fountain Club Card for sodas if you drink a lot of them. If you purchase beer from the deck bars, get it in 4 bottle buckets. You save a little money.
