On cruises, we talk to the other guests about the other cruise lines and learn a lot. Carnival, RCCL and Princess would be best. We are told that Celebrety and Holland America are elegant, but half the people on board have those blasted motorized scooters and the lines move slower than molassis in January. Going during school time reduces the number of kids on board, just in case you were wondering. We have found Carnival to be more inclusive than Princess. We have never cruised with RCCL.
Time travler
I have cruised nine times with Princess and that includes a cruise/tour to Alaska. I loved that cruise so much, I'm going again this summer, but just a cruise this time. Princess has a very good reputation, especially when it comes to Alaskan cruises. The best rooms are the balcony's near the middle of the ship as there is less movement there. But from all of my cruises and all different locations, the ocean swells have never bother me in the least.
