I checked cruises around the 10th and they had plenty of cruises on several ships with good rooms. While balconies are limited, you can try and get the best room and hopefully upgrade. Lots of cancellations tend to occur so it wouldn't be hard to have them put you on a waiting list for a potential balcony room if they are filled.

Also, how much money are you wanting to spend on a cruise? Most balcony rooms are very expensive, and if this is your first cruise, you should know that you spend little time in your room anyway.

However, if your heart is dead set on a balcony room, find a cruise that has availability and then call that cruise line to see what they can do for you. Balcony rooms are usually available due to the high price range.

Have you tied googling 'last minute cruise deals'!?!?
I can't believe you wouldn't find ANYTHING that way.... there are so MANY good deals booking last minute.
If that still doesn't work, call a local travel agent, they can most definitely find you something.
