I have taken a Disney cruise and it was absolutely incredible. There are things to do for all age groups. I would also recommend looking into the higher class Royal Caribbean ships. They have the rock climbing walls and the Flow Rider that are both great for the older kids.

I've been on 7 cruises total... I started cruising when I was 8 years old.. We went on a cruise every few years but still it was amazing.. I would think the Bahamas or the Caribbean especially eastern would be fun. Do a shorter cruise just in case they dont like it, there not stuck there for 2 weeks. I would also recommend Carnival because you do have kids. They have nice rooms and are affordable. One big tip: DONT OVERPACK!! |

The cruise lines have activities for all ages of children. We were on the Carnival Conquest last week, and they even offer babysitting for a fee so that you can go "out" in the evenings. There are clubs for the kids along with Camp Carnival. I didn't travel with my kids but there were lots of kids on our boat and they didn't seem bored at all. There were two pools for family/kids and a water slide too.
The only word of caution is the sail and sign card. The kids can use it to purchase items, so this can get costly if it isn't carefully monitored. |

I took a Disney Cruise last year...and loved it!! They treat you amazingly and the cruise is for all ages. Most people think that they are geared towards kids, but while we were on the ship, I saw (and talked to) and lot of older couples that came alone...without their kids. You should definitely take a Disney Cruise. They do cost higher than other cruise ships, but, once you take a disney cruise, you will not want to go on another cruise ship! |

Oh! A family cruise is great when you avail for a cruise vacation that are really for families, perhaps the Disney Cruise Line is on top of this list, best for family cruises. The Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Princess are also on top of the list of having best family cruises... |

Some cruise lines do not allow children under one year. If your baby is going to be younger then that you need to check the cruise line. A disney cruise would be ideal for the young ones. |

Cruises are great for the whole family. I suggest finding the right cruise line that meets everyone's needs. I hear Disney cruises are great for families, as well as Carnival and Roya Caribbean. Check on the facilities for day care, youth activities, etc. I have been ships that have special clubs for teens too. No matter what you choose, have fun! |
