I've booked all 15 of my cruises through vacationstogo.com.
They do have awesome deals, but nope, there is no gimmick, timeshares, hidden charges or anything like that. The only thing that's really different is that you have to call instead of being able to book online.

Yes vacations to go is a great site for discounted cruises and there are no gimmicks or timeshare seminars that you have to sit through.
I would reccommend calling my travel agent for better than awesome ~ pay as you go~ cruise deals. I know there is a great special going on today! The number is 877-779-SAIL.

When I my hubby and I decided to go on our first cruise April 2009 I researched Vacationstogo as well as Cruisesonly.com. When I actually called Vacationstogo, I was not impressed with the customer service. I felt that I was rushed and I bothered them by asking them questions. I much prefered cruisesonly.com customer service and I was given an actual Ext of the person I spoke with. When I actually made my reservation with cruisesonly.com they were very helpful and I got the same deal as vacationstogo and te other cruise lines offer.

I have used them just recently for my next cruise in October. They are just an on line travel agency and sell lots of cruises. They make their money by selling much more then a regular travel agency. They were very helpful and didn't mind me asking a lot of questions. I guess the only gimmick is you need to know what you want in advance, like what cruise company and when you want to go and to where. The other thing to know is you book a cruise by calling them, not on line. But that was no problem for me at all. So, they are a fine company and you can trust them.
