Disney Cruise- does anyone have any tips?
going on a Disney Cruise in May...not booked yet- anyone know of any ways to save $$ or have any tips for me...?
Just to correct Ms. Switch, the Disney Cruise Line does not allow you to bring your own alcohol on board. I don't know of any money-saving tips other than to book directly through the Disney Cruise Line website. You'll pay more at any other website because they have to buy the packages through Walt Disney World, charge you for that, and then charge you extra so they can actually make a profit.
Anyway, sorry I couldn't be of more help, but you'll have a wonderful time!

If you have any kids then be extra cautious about the prices on food so you can save some extra dough. Also use less water and electricity. I suggest buying jugs of water at the supermarket to save on water bills.
I hear it is very fun with a deck party when leaving port and all the characters should be very entertaing for your the little ones. The kids even have a secret tunnel they go through when at the kids club. The parent gets a pager if the child needs you for something but the parents rarely get paged have fun on your trip!!

bring your own drinks-- sodas and booze if you drink them. They are very expensive on the boat
