It really depends on your schedule and budget. Land/sea is a little more pricey than just sea because you have to pay for both parts. Also, will everyone's work schedule allow for a whole week off? The way land/sea packages work is that either a four-night stay at one of nine (this number may have gone up since last I checked) specific hotels on Disney property is attached to the dates of a three-day cruise or three-night stay at one of those same hotels is attached to the dates of a four-night cruise, with the hotel/park part shceduled first in both cases. If you're only able to get time off for three or four days, than just sea is the way to go. The kids will get to see the characters either way- they're on the boat and the private island where only Disney cruises go as well as in the parks. |

I would go with the Land and Sea Package. I think I heard that the Disney Cruise Line was only offering Land and Sea Cruises to the Caribbean this summer anyway because they'll also be going to the Mediterranean. Anyway, if you book the Land and Sea Package you'll get to experience Walt Disney World. And Walt Disney World is just the most amazing place on Earth! And it seems all of the kids are of age and probably height to ride any of the attractions. The entire family would enjoy Walt Disney World. It's the Year of a Million Dreams Celebration, too, so there's a lot of extra special things going on.
Hope I could help! Have fun! Feel free to email me if you have any other questions about Walt Disney World or the Disney Cruise Line.
I am a Walt Disney World Fanatic and can't wait to go back in July! |

well on the cruise you get a disney atmosphere and you and your huband can get alone time...the theme parks are just magical...i can't tell you one or the other....i have to say disney is so good at what disney does.
if you can afford it do the cruise/disney combo ....also keep in mind when you are at the parks you are covering alot of ground....you could stay onsite at Disney for 2 weeks and still not see "everything" |

On disney the land/sea 7 day packages equal the same as the 7 days at sea. Disney only has two ships. This summer Disney cruise line will be sailing an almost sold out venue in the Mediterranean. The other ship left sailing in the Caribbean is also reporting tight space. As prices are based on availability, this is likely to drive up your cost. When doing your research, also consider pricing out royal Caribbean and carnival cruise lines that sail from Port Canaveral. This information may be even more important to you if your 13 year old isn't as sold on disney as the 7 year olds are. |

I would recommend mixing it up. The Disney parks are awesome. So much to do on land and sea. Enjoy your trip!! |

D,
We took the 3 night cruise. Would recommend if you go cruise only, do the 4 or even 7 night, 3 were not enough. Do the park first and cruise 2nd, if you do both, so you can relax. We had 8 kids in our party in ages from 6 to 15. They ALL loved it. Even the 15 year old had a blast, Disney or not! They unanimously agreed that they would rather go on the cruise again then go to the park. Or, they would rather go on a longer cruise than do both. We asked them on the flight home. The lines and the walking was so tiring, especially if you go in the summer when they will be busy. Have fun.

We took our daughters to Disney for the first time at ages 5 and 7 with the land and sea package.
We took the package with the land visit at the beginning of the week and the sea package at the end of th week.
Kids loved it. Parents were too exhausted. I would suggest booking the sea days at the beginning of the week and the land days at the end of the week.
Your 7-year olds will love it! The 13-year old may not get into the experience as much.
The private Disney island was very nice.
The Disney cruise line is definitely focused on the experience of the children. It is not an adult cruise that accommodates children. It is a children's cruise that accommodates adults. |
