Do I bring towels on a cruise ship?

My hubby and I are having a night-before-we-leave-and-we're-stressed... argument. Do you bring towels on a cruise ship? I think it's like a hotel and they supply them. He does not. Who's right?

dont pack towels. you are right of course (always the woman)! he should listen to his wife more!

jfrabell
There's towels EVERYWHERE on a cruise ship.

Carnival even makes cute little towel animals for you in your stateroom.

Aptoslady
No, they provide towels, your husband is wrong.

chopstix
you do not need to bring towels to a cruise but you are your huband has any fabric allergy you should play it safe to bring your own towels but if you don't have an y allergies save the space and not bring any

Tenacious le grande
You are right. No need to pack towels. They will have plenty!

it's a hotel. you don't need towels, except a beach towel might be a good idea if you like you own.

Handyman
You will need beach towels if planning to visit any beach in the islands.

NO. You only need to bring personal items. Towels are everywhere and more are available upon request.

Leave all of your cares at home.

It's better than hotel. The staff will do (almost) anything you ask them to and for no extra charge. Just remember, ALCOHOL is always at additional cost and the cost is awfully inflated.

Towels are free.

Rock_N_Roll_Chicky
no they provide them

no they have towels there

bonzeben200
they have to give you some if not, just lay out too dry me and we-ge did it on spring break

magic621a
Cruise ships have oodles of towels. They even have towels for laying out by the pool. If you absolutely must bring your own towel, bring a beach towel. Otherwise, you're already paying for them, so use the ship's towels.

janet
never been but i would think for the amount of money you are paying they would supply the towels you can call and ask to clear the matter up

TINKERTOY ..... the 1 & only
Do not bring ANY towels. The cruise ship will have towels in your cabin which they will change twice a day and there will be towels in the spa/gym, at the pool, and when you get off the ship to go to a beach they will provide beach towels.

The ship provides towels. It's just like a hotel, only on water.

spyceedc
You don't need to bring towels. You have a room steward who takes care of all of your room needs. You give him a tip at the end of the cruise. I mean these people will wait on you hand and foot. They have everything you need on the ship. It is better than a hotel. Try not to eat too much. You should have a ball.

Azul
i spent one whole month on the cruise ship .. they supply everything .. the room is like 4 star hotel .. but if you feel you want to take your own towel then you can take with you .. i would not bother taking extra weight with me.. plus there are loads of shops in the ship its like small indoor shopping center you can buy every thing from there ... good luck and have a nice time .. i really loved the cruise ship

ohlalaboy29
bring them and get them wet and pop your husband on the ***

MummytoBoo
You are. Cruise ships provide towels, just like hotels do.

No...

Flyleaf
No, unless you have some special attachment to the towel. Towels will be provided to you, being that a cruise ship is a big hotel on water. :)

If you're going to a port with a beach and enjoy large towels, YES. Otherwise, they have plenty of towels including the standard size beach towel for use on or off the ship. You just need to sign them out.

saturnsl2_98
I think it's like a hotel and they provide them.

You're right it's like a hotel and those are provided for you.

Just got back from a cruise and they supplied everything that you could ever think of needing! Save the room in your suitcases for souvenirs!

They supply towels for your bathroom and some also provide towels for you to use at the pool. They are regular size towels so if you want a beach-sized towel, you can bring it along. Personally I would use the space for souvenirs instead! =)
