TINKERTOY ..... the 1 & only
Go to the wet site for Costa and read their requirements for passports and Visas. When you go to the web site click on travel documents required and there is a link for Visa requirements.

When we went to Spain and Italy via cruise ship we did not need a Visa. In fact I have never needed a Visa for any country visited by cruise ship. But to be on the safe side check out their web site, or better yet call and explain and get an axact answer.

SPAIN (ES)

Passport required (must be valid at least 3 months beyond
expiry date of visa).

Visa required.

Visitor must hold:
- visible means of support during stay; and
- onward or return ticket and documents required for next
destination.

Non-compliance with the entry regulations may result
in fines between EUR 6,025.- and EUR 60,240.-.

ITALY (IT)

Passport and visa required.

Visa is valid only for passport holder, unless otherwise
specified on visa.

Visitor can extend length of stay by applying to the local
authorities.

Visitor must hold:
- return/onward tickets and all documents required for next
destination; and/or
- sufficient funds, unless a sponsor can guarantee for
passenger at the airport upon arrival.

Non-compliance with entry regulations will result in fines
between EUR 3,500.- and EUR 5,500.- per person and deportation
of the passenger to country of origin at carrier's expense. In
case of severe non-compliance license/permission concerning
landing rights can be suspended or revoked

MALTA (MT)

Passport and visa required.

However, if holding:
1. a valid Schengen visa:
visa not required. Stay allowed up to the expiry date of the
Schengen visa, provided passenger can (re-)enter the
Schengen area with that visa when traveling to/from Malta;
or
2. national visa issued by Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Rep.,
Hungary, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania,
Slovak Rep. or Slovenia:
visa not required for a max. transit period of 5 days,
provided passenger is:
- in transit through Malta; and
- continuing their journey (incl. other modes of transport)
to a third country.

Visitor must hold:
- onward/return ticket; and
- documents required for next destination; and
- sufficient funds.
Exempt from above condition and from holding a visa are spouse
and children (irrespective of their nationality) of Maltese
passport holder, provided all are travelling together.

Non-compliance with entry regulations may result in refusal
upon arrival and fines for the transporting carrier of up to
MTL 5,000.-.

TUNISIA (TN)

Passport (must be valid at least for the period of intended
stay) and visa required.

Visitors must hold documents and tickets for return or onward
journey.

----I would call the cruise line directly. It looks like you are required to have a visa since you are from India, but they may give them onboard and only the cruiseline or your Travel agent will know this information. If you travel agent continues to be no help I would contact a supervisor of that agency.

No you just need a passport.

I have taken costa over the summer and the cruise line provides you with a card for on board purchases only but when you leave the ship for expeditions or what not, you need other forms of payment, like a visa
