Do the windows in oceanview staterooms on cruise ships open?

I am getting ready to take a cruise with Royal Caribbean and I booked an oceanview room. Do the windows in the oceanview rooms open? This is my first cruise and I am coming up with all kinds of dumb little questions : ) Any answers would be a great help. Thanks : )

No they don't.
Our first cruise had an inside cabin. It was great for sleep because it was dark all the time.
Since the all of our cruises have been in the Junior Suite. There is more room and the balcony is absolutely great.
Breakfast when the sun comes up in the breeze is something you don't want to miss. Very private and exhilarating.
If you have any questions e-mail me.
Royal Caribbean has been really great with our trips.
No questions are dumb because there is a lot to do on board and certain tips you may want to know, such as free Internet usage.

Them windows keep the water out. Portholes might open, but they were for ventilation, not really needed in a Climate Controlled room.
Have fun on the cruise and walk out on deck.

No, the Oceanview rooms do not open. The only way to get some fresh air into your room during the cruise is if you have a verandah room. But other than that the ocean view windows stay closed.

There are usually windows on the promenade deck that you can open, not sure if that is much help. The promenade deck is nice since you can get some fresh air, but you can stay under shelter or lay out in the sun, it helps cut down on the wind and things like that.

Have a great time!

Only when the ship stops at the bottom.
