I am pretty sure you will. I would just travel very fastly through baggage and the port and everything. I think that you'll make it. It seems like enough time I just would try to hurry. Is there any way to get an earlier flight? Hope everything works out. |

It is the state law that you mustbe onboard one and a half to two hours early to ensure you getting on your cruise on time, without it closing it's door. If your flight is on time, I would say you would be out of there at 2( i'm just thinking the longest time, you'll probably be out there earlier), and let's say a 20 minute ride will get you at the port around 2:30. I'd say you're just cutting it. I don't reccomend cutting it that close, because if you miss your cruise doors shutting by literally ONE SECOND you'll have to fly to the first port of call, which you have to pay out of your own pocket. I've been on 15 cruises, 14 of which I flew to the port, and always have taken an morning flight (arriving between 10-12), and never having to feel rushed. I think you will have to feel rushed, and even what if there's bad weather and your flight is delayed? Sure you won't be alone but the cruise waits for nobody. I VERY MUCH reccomend changing your flight if possible because you don't want to have to miss the cruise. |

If everything goes perfectly, you might. However many cruise lines now have a 90 minute rule. You must be on board 90 minutes before the ship is set to sail. There are lots of lines and processing points that you must go through before you actually get on the ship.I think I would be a nervous wreck and would do everything I could to avoid this situation. My first cruise had problems with one of the flights not getting to Miami on time so they held the coach bus with us waiting 2 hours until they landed. When we got to the port, we were literally told to run through processing. I'll never fly in on the same day again. Nor will I pay for cruise line transfers. You can get much better deals on your own. Check out cruisecritic.com for more info. |

you should be able to make it on time. i went on a cruise with carnival earlier this year and there were people getting on the ship close to 4p.m. I guess it depends on the cruise line. |

Time travler
|
Plenty of time, but if you are worried, lots of people get to the port city the day before. On my first cruise, I had to fly to Florida and it was to arrive at 3:30pm. The ship sailed at 5. I was so worried, but as it turned out, I had nothing to worry about. The ship was delayed several hours due to a coast guard inspection. I was still on it by 5pm. I think you will be just fine. I usually book my transportation from the airport to the ship through the cruise company. That way, you are guaranteed to make it to the ship on time. |
