Dress is casual. I did not see any shorts or tee shirts in the lounges, but that was the only apparent restriction. |

You do need to wear cloths, I believe "casual" best describes the appropriate attire. |

NOT AT ALL!!!.......i just got back and believe me, carnival is soooo laid back.....you don't have to worry about that at all.......the dining area is the only place you need to really look nice, however there were many who didn't dress up at all, and just like the other person said, they won't kick u out or look at u funny at all.......half the time i was in capris and tanks......and i was all over that ship......lol.......have fun!!!!!! |

Nope- Carnival is all about casual comfort. There are two formal wear nights on 7 day cruises, but they are not mandatory. Also: People usually changed out of their evening wear for the lounges and clubs they went to afterward.
Check their website for the dining room attire. |

to the best i can see the only dress codes are for the dinning room, as far as the rest of the ship shorts and a t-shirt should be fine if that is what you want, I only saw swimsuit alone on the lido deck by the pool, that may just be most peoples habit or courtesy |

I was just on a carnival cruise. they say casual dress -- so you can pretty much wear whatever you want. Some nights I wore shorts and other nights I dressed up. They wont ask you to leave if you are wearing shorts but they also don't really like for bathing suits etc. You do have to wear some clothes! At dinner even, one night my friend was so sunburn it hurt to wear clothes, so she wore a tshirt and pj pants to dinner and they didnt even flinch when she walked into the main resturant for a dinner. So its up to you - your vacation. you are entitled to have fun!!! |
