No you do not have to pay extra. Royal Caribbean does however have a Royal Family Suite on some of the larger ships. This suite sleeps 8 people - and you must have a minimum of 5 people to book it. It would be cheaper then booking 2 suites. Check into it. We got upgraded to it once, there were 3 of us, because nobody had booked it. It is in the back of the ship with a HUGE balcony- two bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. It was heaven! |

No. There is no added cost for connecting rooms. Availability will be the determining factor. Don't forget too that if you are seeking only 2 rooms - for 7 people - you'll be looking at more than 2 per room ---- typically the 3rd, 4th -- the number of people over 2 per room -- pay a greatly reduced price.
Passengers 1 & 2 pay full price per room & additional passengers typically will pay one-half that price!
At least that's been our experience.
Have a wonderful trip! |

No. You are just paying for two rooms. |

no, buy it would be hard to get two together with a door connecting. |

No, its just based on availability. My friends and I recently went on a RCCL cruise and had two of our rooms connected, one wasn't. When we booked our agent gave it to us because it was available, we all paid the same price. |

no. my family is booking a cruise on royal carribean right now and our travel agent told us that we will not have to pay extra for our connecting balconies. =] |

NO, when you book your cruise you can select the cabins that you want and if there are two cabins next to each other that you want AND they are in the same price category you can reserve them at no EXTRA charge. On all ships there are blocks of cabins in the same price range right next to each other; there may be 10 or 12 cabins together, then some in a different price range. Some ships have cabins with a connecting door. The last cruise ship we went on, the Royal Caribbeans Adventure of the Seas, we had a cabin that had a door connecting it with the next cabin.
The other option is to get cabins across the hallway from each other. But the adults in the outside/balcony cabin and the kids in the inside cabin across the hall. However, when you book these you MUST have at least one person the age of 21 or older booked for each cabin. That's a cruise line policy (its 25 for Carnival). You do need to book early if you want the cabins with a connecting door. |

The last cruise i went on was three months ago, usually they will charge you for connecting rooms but check it out because sometimes they have deals and discounts on connected rooms for big parties or in your case famiy. |
