Do you think 400 dollars for My husband and i would be enough money to take on our cruise to keywest florida,?

If we do not gamble or go to the spa, i would like to drink a little, order room service, go to see a comedy by the way do you have to pay for that,? eat alot, And take pictures with my camera and let the ship people take 1 or 2 photos of us

Yes you should be fine but no gambling because that might set you back. Drinks are around $6 depending on what you get (sodas - $2 or $3 i think). Pictures are about $20 for an 8x11, so that's about $40 there. And the rest could go to excursions and if you want to save money I would research the ports and see if you can find a bargain on excursions the ship prices may run more than outside or local prices.

Have fun!!!

If you fly in early and spend a couple of days before leaving on your cruise, those expenses would be extra. There may also be charges/taxes at the airport. Do you have transportation to the ship or need money for a taxi?

Most cruises are all inclusive. If you order room service, there is a charge, as well as the expected tip. The photos which are taken by the cruise photographer sell for between $5 and $20 each, depending on size. Wine and soft drinks in the main dining room will be charged for. Meals outside of the lunch buffet and the main dining room are also charged for, e.g., the Pizza Place will charge you. The entertainment, including movies, shows and comics, have always been included with no additional charge. You will be given a recommended tip sheet which gives you the amounts you are expected to tip and you can decide how closely you want to follow those.

Yup should be just enough. May need a little more because of tips... and depends on how much drinking is "a little." Let the ship people take all of the pictures they want! You are not obligated to buy ANY of them ! :)

things you pay for on a Carnival Cruise
Gratuity/tip $10 a day per person
spa
bars don't drink but am told it starts as $5 and up
coffee shop $3 and up (this is where I was)
casino (don't gamble either)
shops/pictures $20 about cant remember could not find one I likes so I did not get it
excursions, what you do at ports, you can buy them trough Carnival or wait until you get the the port and wing it from there, I research the ports in advance and go from there

the rest is free (part of the fair you paid)
all the food
shows
activities (unless other wise said are included)

chevyray8
well if you can fit it in your budget then yes. If your drinking and buying things on the ship or in key west then you need more then 400 drinks are $$$$

The shows on the ship should be included with your price of the cruise. They ship will charge you for your photo's they take and they cost big time. I think we payed like 25.00 a picture.

Time travler
Everything you buy while on the ship from pictures, to film, to drinks and tips is put on your account that you will have with the ship. Usually most people give them a credit card. So whatever cash you bring is for stuff in port. Princess cruises which I have taken has atm machines on board too.

depends on what cruise line it is i took a Caribbean cruise and it cost 1180 per person and 300 for the flight there and back it was expensive not to mention if you want to buy anything while you are on the islands. And no you don't have to pay for any of the comedy's on the Cruise you just have to pay for drinks and souvenirs

You are an adult..you should know.

Or have enough sense to look it up on a flight package.

Anyways..yes I think $400 should suffice, I'm sure the comedy wouldn't cost that much, if any, maybe the MAX $30 for the two of you, depending on the location and the preformers name and fame.

I'm sure that you can find a couple of good eating places without spending tons of money. It's just taking the time to find the right place, and the better deal.
