Does anyone know of a good cruise for 18 year olds?

We would like a cruise in June for the caribbean.

I checked, and all the major cruise lines require people under 21 to be accompanied by an adult. You basically just need one person over 21, not necessarily a parent (except on Holland America, where the adult needs to be 25).

If a parent or other adult is with you, then I think these are the best cruises:
- Carnival if you like nightlife. They have the best dance clubs, DJs, karaoke and shows
- Royal Caribbean for a "sportier" time -- they have a rock-climbing wall and an ice rink on some of the bigger ships. Can be kinda dead at night, though. I've been on RC twice and their nightlife sucked both times

Oh, and a 3-day weekend cruise will be the wilder than a 7-day cruise, but short (obviously).

I hope you have fun!

Charlie
Be sure to ask age requirement for the cruise line you decide upon, as many will not accept 18 yr. olds with out a person over 21 or 25 responsible for them. See sites below.

Carnival! They have the best cruises for all ages

Also check out cruise critic.

Carnival may be a good choice.

Windjammer barefoot cruises are amazing too. They have 'theme' cruises such as singles etc..if your looking for eligible rogues or wenches. Other ships may have these options too.

I went on NCL with my friend when I was 20. It was fun too but if I had known about windjammer then I would have preferred that.

If your really into the dancing scene smaller ships may not work for you. They don't always have the room.

Check the age requirements here. There are only a few cruise lines that will let 18 year olds cruise alone.

You are going to need someone 25 or older to be with you on Carnival and 21 or older to be with you on Royal Caribbean. Nonetheless, those are the two cruise lines I would recommend for eighteen year olds.

Royal Caribbean Cruiseline. Great ships, great places to visit. Lots of entertainment on board. Perfect for you.

I'm 18 and I've been on 8 Carnival Ships, they are by far the best ship. There's tons to do and the croud isn't mostly old people, it's mostly younger people. You have to be married, 21, or be staying with a 25 year old in order to go by yourself.
