EBAY SELLING DEBARKATION LUGGAGE TAGS........?
I was checking out some items on EBAY and I came across someone sellling "CRUISE LINES # 1 DEBARKATION LUGGAGE TAGS"...the seller stated that if I buy those and put them on my luggage on the last day of the cruise that those tags will somehow get me off the ship faster? How is this possible? Is this SALE a scam? How can this person be selling them?
They are right, the luggage tags are there for the taking towards the end of your cruise. I myself am never in a rush to get off. I try to soak up every ounce of the cruise and am always the last to leave, they have to practically kick me off.
TINKERTOY ..... the 1 & only
IT IS A SCAM!!! I have been on many cruises with several cruise lines and they all give you luggage tags for disembarkation that are color coded and to meet you exact needs. If you need to get off the ship first because you have an early flight home or you want to get started driving home you tell them you want/need to be in the first group leaving. Many cruise lines now use a process called "Express Walkoff" where you keep your luggage in your cabin the last night of the cruise and you and your luggage are the first ones off the ship the next morning. BUT, you have to carry all of your own luggage; there are no porters or ship's staff to help. We have used this on Royal Caribbean, Holland, and Norwegian cruises and I'm sure its available on other cruise lines. So you don't need any luggage tags to get off the ship first. We used it on the last 3 cruises we did.

DO NOT BUY THIS! This is a scam. Okay the tags are given out by the people on the cruise on the 2nd to last day of the cruise. So how could those people possibly have them. They also have dates on them and information that doesn't apply to everyone. Ours had our names on them so the cruise would know if it wasn't theirs. Also all the info. from the tags are in their computers...this is a SCAM. i would NEVER buy those ever!! Don't waste your money. If you do this you could loose your luggage and never see that stuff again. So I would not do this...smart person to ask on here other than those 4 people who already bid on them!

This is a scam. Each cruiseline has certain colored and numbered tags to have people come off the ship pending on your air flight schedule. You can not buy these on the web and think you will get off earlier. You can only get them from your cruise before you leave the ship.
One to two days prior to disembarkation, cruiselines will ask you again what time your flight is and they will send your tags to your accordingly.

the only thing i can think of is the cruise line has colored tags to stagger the debarkation.(those in higher priced cabins get off earlier if they wish).
I don't know what to tell you if this Ebay seller's statements are true or not. or if its a scam.
good luck
