As a male model, I've been lucky enough to go on some cruises to do their brochures, and got lots of feedback from others who have done the same.
In all, I would say that the best is Princess. Not too expensive. Easygoing atmosphere, but not party-hearty. Good food, including luxury things like smoked salmon on open, fresh buffets 24h a day.
I was also on Crystal. Highly recommended by the critics, but I found it stuffy. Many older people, and a stodgy atmosphere along with high cost. Other models speak well of Seaboard, which offers a smaller more intimate setting. Stay away from Carnival (cheap), and Disney for obvious reasons.
Haven't been on Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, or Norwegian myself, but no particularly good feedback I've heard (or bad either.) But I think if your choose Princess, you'll get really good value for money and have a great time as I did. |

it depends on what you're looking for in a cruise.
if you want luxury and relaxation, i'd choose princess just because it's more high class.
royal caribbean would be a good cruise if you're looking for fun.
there's a lot of fun stuff to do on there like rock climbing and on some ships they have an ice skating rink and flo-rider, which is like surfing.
also they have a lot of fun activities like, "mr. sexy legs" and "belly flopping" contests.
but yeah, out of all the cruise lines, i recommend those two because i've been on both of them already and i've heard from other people that those are the best cruise lines. |

By and far the best two cruise lines are Princess and Royal Caribbean!!! I have been on several cruises and they seem to be about the best. You may pay just a little more but you get what you pay for in life! |

i like carnival. i think it is the best for the money. top notch service, food. i have been on carnival, royal carribbean, ncl, celebrity, and costa and i always seem to back to carnival. Carnival has the best food. i actually lost weight on ncl and costa because the food was gross. carnival seems to be a younger crowd (20s-30s) although you see all age groups on all ships. |

I love Carnival. The food is great, good service, the ships are each decorated differently, and we thought that the cabin was laid out the best. If I was to book a cruise based on the company or ships...I would definitely choose Carnival.
Princess was fair. We were just on the Emerald Princess a year ago, and we did not find the food as good as on Carnival. Also, the balconies are not private, and we did not care for the layout of the cabin.
We just got back from our first and last cruise on NCL not even a month ago (a 12 night Mediterranean cruise). The food and the service were terrible. I would NEVER recommend NCL. Also, they try to nickel and dime you more than any other cruise line. (We felt the least nickel and dimed on Carnival.)
*If you want to pay to eat in the "specialty restaurants" then the food and service would probably be fantastic across the board. However, I remember (at my somewhat young age) when cruising was really and truly a one stop shop, and you did not have to pay extra to eat here or lounge there.
Good luck - it's a hard decision! |

Brutally Honest

A friend of mine has done every cruise line imaginable, and he keeps coming back to the Disney cruises. He's NEVER been disappointed, raves endlessly (to the point where I just want to smack the crud out of him from jealousy!!), and books the next cruise nearly as soon as he gets off the last boat!
If I ever go on one, I'm going Disney! |

I absolutely love Norwegian Cruise Line. They are the all time best! They honestly do try their hardest to please everyone. I would suggest no matter what you are looking for in your vacation to choose NCL. |
