Teenagers.Need.Help....

Famiy Cruise Starting Dec. 25th? ?

Yes, I know it's short notice, but I've finally found the date for shared freedom. My sister's family is officially free of school and work and is looking for a Christmas vacation. I'm helping her find a plan due to my already busy schedule for the next two weeks. We've found that with the various age groups [that is: adult (40s), teens (13-14), and children (6-7)], a cruise would be a nice option. We are looking for an option that is between 5-6 days and we would preferably like to leave either during the evening of Christmas Day or the morning of December 26th.
Some additional information:
They live in California. Los Angeles is about an hour and a half drive away from where we live in Oildale. San Fransisco is four hours away. San Diego is six hours away.
The family includes two teen girls (one's 12, the other 14), a 6 year old girl, a seven year old boy, and two parents in their 40s.
Anymore questions, just ask please! Thanks!

It is very unlikely you would find anything at this late of a date as Christmas cruises always fill up and fill up a long time ago too. They always cost more during a holiday also. Fact is very few cruise companies would even let you book at this last of a date because o homeland security. I know Princess cruises ask all passengers to be booked at least 72 hours in advance. Your best bet would be to go to "vacations to go" and click on their 90 day ticker and see if anything at all is available. Good luck.

Yes, more questions ..please. Can you tell me if they have cruised before? Which lines? Anyone active or retired from the military or is part of a union? Most likely in their case, we may be able to find double occupancy or triple occupancy rooms. The only lines leaving out of California is Carnival, NCL, Princess, and Royal Caribbean. Please let me know the answers at dena@thecruiseplanner.com

Christmas ones sell out early and prices stay high.

Try Vacatationstogo.com as they list all the available/discounted ones, you might strike lucky.
