If it's a naval vessel on operations, you have NO chance. If it's a commercial vessel, then contacting the company that operates it is probably the best way. If its a small private vessel, the last port it sailed from may have details, though it's not very likely that they would release them to just anyone.
If the ship is in radio contact, you might ask them for their location. |

www.cruisecal.com will have a listing of which ports each ship will be sailing into...by date. Every once in a while there's a mistake, but for the most part, it'll be correct. It's also a nice way to see how many other ships are berthing along with you. |

Not sure if this is a floating ship or shipwreck you are talking about, can you be more specific about which ship?
Shipwrecks are found on mariner's charts with a little symbol - like the Mary Rose site for example.
For a working ship - they have radar so their exact co-ordinates are always known so that they can communicate with the Coastguard on their vhf radios. Not sure where you would find this info online though. If you want to know where the ship will be docking next you can have a look on a Google search and go to the ship's website if it is a liner etc and find out the dates where it docks, or the local press. I used to live on the South Coast and it always said at the ferry station when the QE2 and Oriana etc were next in. Hope this answer helps. |

Princess cruises.com have a full website of their ships and what cruises there are on offer. They have web cams on each ship and if you click on live web cam it shows a live picture of where the ship is. The picture updates every minute |

find out what cruise line and whats the name on the ship and call and ask for itinerary they should be able to tell you every day where that ship is and where the Port of calls are and how long there good luck to you hope this helps |
