We have sailed the Carnival Conquest several times as well as the Carnival Ecstasy once.

The Conquest class ship at 110-tons provides a very smooth ride. I hardly feel any motion while sailing this ship.

All of the main entertainment is on Deck 5.

It is a bit challenging to get to the main dining room as you have to access from the floors above but no problem after you first visit.

The Conquest class dining rooms provide for spacious dining and many of the tables have views of the sea. It is large enough that the noise level is low.

The larger Conquest ship has many common areas and you can be at the party or in the quite, depending on your preference.

The best cabin floor is the Verandah (Deck 8) forward. A one flight of stairs up to the Lido deck. Plus no noise from the theater or casino on the 5th deck.

The Ecstasy was too small for my taste. Probably won't sail that class ship again.

I have not been on the Conquest class but have been on the Spirit class which is very similar and after getting used to the different layout actaully loved it (ive been on the triumph, Victory, Legend, Pride, Elation, Imagiantion and Fasciantion (3X)...The Fantasy class is very similar to Triumph but you should love the Glory, Ive heard nothing but good about her, make sure you make reservation for the supper club, its worth every penny

my personal favorite is the fantasy class. The conquest class is alot like the triumph but a bit larger My stateroom on the liberty was on the lido deck right next to the pool. Most of the important places are mid ship right next to the elevators so go for a midship stateroom.

I have been on 8 Carnival ships and Conquest was (and is) by far my favorite.

The ship is HUGE, but easy to learn and get around.
We are sailing her again next June

i've been on both Carnival Glory & Carnival Fantasy.
Uhmm. Glory was our Most Recent Cruise [June 21,2008] and Fantasy was the cruise we took before Glory. [December 16, 2006] We have also toooken Miracle.
Glory has a nice Layout and it very up-to-date.
It's Enviroment is Nice and Soothing.
The staff is friendly and the ship has nice calm places to be alone [at the end of deck 6 you can go out by the Bridge and lay out. Most private place on the ship, though theres the occasional Peeking eyes from the Bridge, a bunch of horny men. ha.] im fully in love with Glory and wouldn't mind going back on it something else. Though i cant say that about Fantasy. I loved Fantasy but however i wasnt as hooked to the Ships layout and the inside of the ship. it's a older ship, though it got the new pool update. I wasn't taken in as easy about its layout. Everything seemed SOOOO far away.
I'm 13 and i've so far been on three cruises. my mom and dad have been on about 6. As soon as i stepped off of glory i couldn't Help but ask something although i knew my mother might get mad. ha. i asked her when we were going on our next cruise. ha. kinda stupid of me. We might be going back on one in december of this year. Im totally siked and i hope to go on Triumpth it seems cool, though glory totally OWNS it. Totally go with Glory! it's Awesome and it's New, so to speak.
Go with Glory, you'll love it.
Go on one that goes to St.Thomas.
St.Thomas was TOTALLY Beautiful!
We stood outside thirty minutes before we were supposed to arrive just to watch us dock and come into the island. DEFFIANTLY watch the ship approach the island of St.Thomas! It's just such a beautiful Sight. it's Breathtaking!
If you go, go to Magens Bay BEACH! it's the Prettiest Beach there! No joke!

I sailed on the Carnival Valor in May out of N.Y.,and enjoyed alot.It was a nice someth sail.It still took some time to find things a son any ship but I got use to it.
