That is perfect attire for formal night on a ship. |

On most cruise lines, Carnival, RCI, Norwegian, and maybe HAL, that would be fine. Some are more formal, and you would need at least a dark suit to feel appropriately dressed.
Each for his own, but I believe people who only wear jeans and eat at the buffet are missing out on part of the fun! The only time I ever get to have a formal dinner is on a cruise, and I thoroughly enjoy them, even though I am a jeans girl most of the time!
Enjoy your cruise! |

When we went on Carnival, some people were in a simple dress/suit, and others were dressed like it was a wedding or senior prom. Just as long as it's nice clothes, something that you would wear maybe to church or a wedding, then you'll be okay. |

With some liners, it is very formal! The bow, a small item to pack, would be a thoughtful one to keep with you! Marcellas would go well with the bow! If you pack suit of a shade such that the jacket could also be a 'combination jacket' for any slacks, you would have some flexibility, and you would be ready for 'all seasons'! |

You might want to check with your cruise line. I think that would probably be fine for most cruises, but if it is a Cunard cruise, it would need to be a dark suit or tux. |

The formal nights are suggested formal wear nights, in part so you can meet the ship's captain and have a photo with him, but also because they want you to dress up and have pictures taken in variuos very nice places on ship that they then sell to you for $20 to $25 each.
In fact most people do dress formal, but some wear a tux and other wear a suit and tie. You will not be out of place with a suit and tie, Some folks will not even dress up and many, like me, go change their clothes after dinner and get into something more comfortable. |

What cruise line? If it's Carnival then yes, that would be fine, even if without a tie as they aren't that picky about "suit and tie", just nice "businessman attire." |

On some cruises yes. If they have a buffet there is no need, Just jeans. If you do not have a brouchure then check with the cruise lines. A travel agent would have to call to to find out. Been on 19 cruises and only worn jeans every day,
Enjoy. |

Yes!, they are very formal yet unformal.
As long as you have dress pants and a good dress shirt you will be fine.
(The food is amazing on formal nights!) |
