Hey all, my husband and I want to plan a cruise for next summer. We want something fun with good ratings but want a good deal (of course!) Any of you have experience getting stellar cruise deals? We've both cruised before and I am a AAA member. |

The big 3 .coms don't offer you the best cruise deals.
Check the Internet and local travel agents. My on-line agency beats the big 3.com's rates all the time.

Consider waiting until Sept or so to cruise. Prices tend to drop significantly in the fall. Right now some cruise lines are practically giving away Caribbean cruise for Nov and early Dec.
"Cruise" the internet. Be sure when you are entering your info online you include that you've cruised before and what state you live for extra deals on repeat cruises or residency deals.
Orbitz, Travelocity and Expedia will all advertise special deals, but some of the best deals I've seen have been through Costo Travel. If you are a member of Costso, Sam's or BJ's, check with there travel reps once you have things narrowed down. I'm not a AAA member but I would check with them as well if you are. |
