Carnival and Royal Caribbean are great options for a group this age. I would strongly suggest against NCL for a group like this. Their Freestyle Dining isn't well suited for groups of more than 4 or 6 dining together.

You will save yourself a significant amount of stress if you contact a travel agent who specializes in cruises to assist you with this. Let them do the research and present you with several options instead of you doing all of the hunting. Plus they can arrange for all kinds of free amenities for your group during the cruise. I recommend Cruise Planners at 888-286-9827 www.mycruiseplanner.net They're very knoweledgable and very experienced with groups, they offer the same prices as the cruise lines, and they don't charge any service fees.

Carnival would be the best rates and best on-baord activities for teens. You need to keep in mind that you are going to have to have your cabins all side-by-side unless you have 1 person over 25 in each cabin. If you do not have the over 25 person for each cabin I would book early and with a travel agent. The teen clubs on Carnival are a great place and are teen only so you do not have to worry about older "guys" hanging around with the girls.

You should have enough people for a group rate, 8 cabins, I can help you with this if you would like to contact me, see below.

.
Carnival Cruise Lines has a website called "Carnival Connections" that can help you plan a group cruise. It offers advice on how to make your cruise the best it can be. You can also chat with other members of your group to plan your vacation. On Carnival cruises, groups are eligible for discounts. If you wanted to find a cruise out of New York, you would have to research on each cruise lines' website. Cruise ships change itineraries often. You'll just have to find the one that's right for you!

With a group this size, I definitely recommend using a travel agent. I book group cruises all the time and my clients love not having the headaches of dealing with the cruise line and all the people and accounting issues. I would love to offer my services to assist you with your travel plans. I can do a quote for you and see if you would be interested. Travel agents get better pricing and deals than you can find with Internet sites and if the cruise line. It costs you no additional money and saves you time and money. All you have to do is enjoy the trip. My philosophy is the best cruise for the longest time for the least money with the best customer service. I hope to hear from you soon.

a cruise is awesome. you need to check with carnival they are the cheapest and you get the most for your money. however since you have kids I would check with disney. On disney they cost more but the kids will have more to do. Most cruise ships will do discounted group rates. If the kids can wait I would go later in the year. Before Memorial day and after Labor day is the "off" season. Make sure you say away from hurricane season. Have fun on the cruise, I hope you have a blast.

I woudl look at Carnival. They are the cheapest, and I have had very good experiences in booking through them direct. I would look at Caribbean, not Bahamas.

blair .
I would go with Carnival Cruises.
