I have been on many different ones, from the Bahamas, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and my next one is to the Mediterranean like Greece, Egypt, Italy, I think that is probably the best one, it has many different and beautiful sights to see.

Surprisingly, I know several people who have enjoyed cruises to Alaska.....i'd check into that, since you didnt say it had to be somewhere warm!

While I would certainly agree with richmond girl on Norway, a much more common (and therefore economical) cruise would be the Inside Passage of Alaska. There are fjords there as well, just not as spectacular as Norway.

If you're wanting scenery then cruise to Alaska... if you want to have a relaxing trip, the Caribbean might be an alternative, but personally, I wouldn't bother, when I could get the same effect heading the beaches of SoCal, Florida, or if you want the island effect, Hawaii and avoid the cruise ship altogether.

Alaska.

My wife and don't think we are big cruise people but when we see the shows on the travel channel of how beautiful the scenery is on these Alaskian cruises, well we are now going to be planning our trip for next year and it's going to be an Alaskian cruise.

My father took it and said it was wonderful.

While I admit all the suggestion here are good, you might try something different like the Sapphire Seas in Turkey.

It's not something you find in your top 10 cruise destinations, but well worth it for the adventurer.
