All of the so called "cheap cruise" websites are no cheaper than booking through the cruise line website. Check it out and you will see. They do sometimes throw in a coupon book to be used on-board though, or 15% off of shore excursions. Sometimes travel agents will do the same too.
One thing I have heard though, is if going on Carnival or Royal Carib., book on a Tuesday. Thats when they have deals. I dont know if that is true though. |

if you want a good website to get lots of information, try www.vacationstogo.com and it has a phone number to call for a personal touch. they have best prices and the cheapest last minute cruises ive seen. i use it frequently |

this is one of my favorite. but you can sign up for so many travel sites to get periodic emails. my 1st cruise was to mexico [so much fun] and i called carnival directly and my rep helped me out so much. kept me under my budget. lastly, traveling on off seasons is the best if you can (winter). |

I would check expedia.com they have amazing deals, any where you want to go it even shows the prices if the air flight together with your trip, good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

sometimes if you can leave on a short notice, the cruise lines are looking to fill empty cabins. It a crap shoot, if you call 7 days before scheduled departure to the cruise line. They will have extreme discounts. Where you travel & the time of year will affect cost. The Carribean is cheap during the summer but it is also hot so prices are down, late summer with hurricanes also lower price. Naturally Alaska costs more in mid summer |

I always use crusesonly.com I always get good deals. If you go to the Cruise website such as hollandamerica.com and sign up for their email notification you will get good deals email or mailed to you. I have gotten some amazing deals emailed and mailed to me in the last few weeks.

We booked our Carnival cruise through Priceline.com, but I called instead of using the website. For the same price that the cruise line was offering, we were able to get a better deck, midship and the travel insurance included. |
