If you like Nature, meeting people from all over the world, seeing things that you never thought possible, wildlife from the deck of the ship such as whales, seals, otters, eagles and if you are lucky bears. The Glaciers are something everyone takes alittle something different from. I have gone on 22 cruises there and have 3 booked for this year. In Ketchikan go to Salmon Mall at end of pier-many shops & great prices.Only buy your souvenirs in port & save. Take a good camera with you. Enjoy. A trip you will never forget. |

I didn't take a cruise but went to Alaska and it's beautiful country to see by water or land. My Aunt & Uncle did a cruise and this in one travel my Uncle would do again. |

Yes, I live here and enjoy the cruises. The whales, seals, sea lions, otters, killer whales, birds, and on the shore you will see bears, Dall sheep, deer, moose, glaciers, waterfalls, it's a place of incredible beauty. Be warned though, I came here for a 2 week vacation and stayed for almost 30 years now! |
