We did a trip on the QM2 last year, sailed from Southampton to New York at the end of October. We had 6 nights at sea and then had 4 nights in NY. We absolutely loved it and can't wait to do it again. It was so relaxing and a real chill out time. Despite being at sea for 6 days, we have no idea where the time went!
The ship was beautiful, very elegant and a nice place to spend a few days. We spent most lunchtimes in the pub!
If you can afford to do it, spoil yourself. |

Nope but I saw a show on the Travel Channel about the ship. I was trully impressed by the ship and what it has to offer. If I were you I would go and never regret it for one minute!! |

Yes, I've sailed on the Queen Mary and yes, the ship, the service, the food, and the experience were all fantastic. If you have the opportunity, go!
If you don't have the money now, save up for it. It's worth the experience.

I haven't but my best friend, his wife and another couple have. They flew out to New York and sailed back, I think they were on the ship 6 or 7 nights.
It cost them quite a lot but they don't regret a penny of it. They thought the boat was fantastic. Food, entertainment, crew - all of it seemed to go beyond expectation and believe me, that was high!
They have loads of photos, especially in the evening when everyone dressed for dinner, He's a manual worker by trade so him in a dj looks weird! |

No, but want to. I've seen the documentary on The Travel Channel too. I, however, HAVE been on the original Queen Mary!! (Docked in Long Beach, CA) I contacted Cunard regarding a possible Titanic centennial project. They declined to give me any information. That would be soooo cool if Cunard would build a ship commemorating the upcoming centennial. 3 of the funnels would be faux. |
