Has anyone been on the Carnival Triumph?

I was on the Triumph in November. I loved the decor of the ship. The food was great as usual ( I have been on 10 Carnival Cruises) I am going on Splendor and Liberty next month. I love the 24 hour pizza and ice cream. The entertainment was good. The only thing I didnt like is that the Lido dining (where the buffet is) is way to crowded. I was over that by day 4. You can alwyas go eat in the dining room where they give you a menu and wait on you.
You will have a good time. Dunns River Falls is a blast, In Caymans Stingray City and the 2 snorkel stop (best snorkeling we ever did was in the Caymans) There are a lot of fun things in Cozumel also depending on what you like. The Dune Buggy excursion is fun. I never book with the cruise line. I always book with www.shoretrips.com. I do not work for them. I use them because they are usually less expensive than the cruise lines and they are smaller groups of people. That is what I like. Hope you enjoy your cruise.

Was on this ship at xmas from Puerto Rico.24 hr pizza and calzone were brilliant and rest of food was nothing to fancy but good.
Found the entertainment sub par unfortunately but on the whole good value for the money.

We are going on the exact same cruise. This is my first cruise - I am anxious to see the answers to your question. I just came on the site to see if there was anything on the Triumph.

Ive been on a carnival cruise before that went to grand cayman and cozumel. It was a good cruise, not much activites on carnival though, i went on a royal caribbean cruise too which was much better than carnival though. You get sick of the buffet really quickly lol ! The worse part is when you get to port and have to wait in line forever to get off the ship ! The workers are ALL really nice on the ship though. No real complaints. If you find anything wrong with your room make sure you tell your room attendant because they most likely will give you a coupon or even bump you up to a better room ! Cruises are alot of fun, but remember to bring some sea sickness pills !!!!

I sailed the Carnival Triumph about 4 years ago. Its a nice ship, the service is subpar and the food isn't great, but the nightlife is fun.

In Jamaica, do an excursion to Dunns Falls.

In Grand Cayman, definitely do the stingray swim.

We just went on the same exact cruise in June for our Honeymoon--this was only our second time being on a cruise--the first time was with Disney [which was AWESOME]--but I would NEVER EVER go on this ship again, maybe not even another Carnival Cruise--the staff was rude, our room was never cleaned, and the food was gross, and not a whole lot of 'fun' things to do, oh and FYI the spa was HORRIBLE--it is underneath the daycare, so the whole time you are laying there trying to relax you hear feet running above you!!
Do not waste your time or money!!!!

no, but im going on the triumph after you come back:] on april 5th
its my second cruise and i hope its as good as the carnival valor which was my first one
