Has anyone been on the Freedom of the Seas yet? If so, how does it compare to other ships?

I've been on Adventurer, Voyager, and Jewel and am booked for Freedom in February. I'd just like to get the thoughts of those who have experienced it.

went on it for a travelagent viewing, This ship is absolutley amazing. The wave runner was spectacular. The main street on this ship is quite larger than the others, but you have so many more restaurants and different shops that you dont even notice the difference. The new bedding is better than most homes have. It is very plush, and extremely comfortable. On some of the promenade rooms (inside over looking the main street) There is a huge sign that is blocking a view, if anyone gets this room, they get free ice cream for their stay. The dining was the best we ever had, and the dining room with 3 floors was a must see by itself. The parade down main street was the best I have ever seen on a ship. There are acrobats hanging from mid air on wire, to actually be able to see the parade, one must get there EARLY to stand in the front though. If you are thinking of going on this, be prepared to have the best time ever.

I have sailed on 3 of the the voyager class ships, I LOVED it, and I have looked at the Freedom of the Seas on multiple web-sites, it looks even better than the voyager class, I hope to go on it soon. Have you heard about Royal Caribbean's Project Genesis?

Aren't cruise ships just like big floating hotels? Try something different, something that brings you closer to the sea. My wife and I are going on a Windjammer cruise this next week, and would never consider one of those foo foo ships as a vacation. If we wanted a hotel, we'd stay on shore.
