i went to the southern europe coasts on it it was great .2006. i love that cruise line its the best to me ^^

TINKERTOY ..... the 1 & only
We just cruised the Celebrity Millennium from Sydney, Australia to Auckland, New Zealand in February 2009. In short, I cannot say anything bad about the ship or crew. Everything was very nice. We had a balcony cabin on deck 9. It was a very comfortable and clean cabin and our steward was great. Our cruise was for 14 days and the dinner menus were good with a variety of different choices. We used the free room service for breakfast several days and it was good, they delivered right in the half hour window we selected and only missed bringing everything once. On several occasions we even ordered stuff that was not on the menu and they brought it.

The wait staff in the main dining room was good. We ate lunch in the buffet area which has a variety of stations to suit your taste. For example, on the very back of the ship is a lunch time sandwich and soup station. Then on the right side is a pizza station, then up a little further is a pasta station where you can have pasta made to order. Right on the pool deck is a hot dog and hamburger station that also has some other things like grilled chicken, and a few other things. On the very back of the ship is a terrace where you can take your food to eat outside.

Whenever you go to the buffet area do not stop at the first food line that you see/come to. There is always a variety of things to choose from and I found it best to walk around a bit to see if I wanted something different.

The ship has a nice sized gym and a covered pool area that also has a healthy eating place. The solarium also has two hot tubs. The outside pool is nice and also has a couple of hot tubs.

The main showroom was nice and one of the few that I have been in that didn't have obstructed view seats. The ship has a casino but I rated it poor because most of the slots are old, not the types you will see in land based casinos these days. They were current when the ship was built but not now.

You can look at the ship on Celebrity's web site: http://www.celebritycruises.com/plancrui...

The 360 views are accurate: http://www.celebritycruises.com/multimed...

I could and would cruise on this ship again. We also cruised on the Constellation a few years ago and its the same class ship. We liked the Constellation better but the Millenium was very nice.

Go to CruiseCritic.com, click on "Reviews" at the top of the page and read the "Member Reviews" for your ship or any other.

You will find lots of useful info if you click on "Boards" at the top of the page, too.

You need to "join" CC to access some areas of the website, but it's free.

While on cruises, we tend to talk to other guests about other cruise lines. We've been told that Celebrity, Crystal, and Holland America are more for the older crowd. As a result of this, many guests have power chairs and walkers and thus, the lines move slower than molasses in January. I would strongly recommend sticking with Carnival, Princess, or RCCL.
