Has anyone ever been on the Carnival Cruise ship Glory in the middle of the summer?

The ship is great. I went on it two years ago in late July. There are plenty of places on the ship that are comfortable yes. There are plenty of bars and lounges that offer comfort with a bit of drink. There are smaller hidden places where one can get some alone time if you will. On the outside, there is a nice back deck overlooking the water, and there are smaller sofa like benches on the top deck where the warm breeze keeps you comfortable. If you are stopping at Belize, do the cave tubing it was one of the best places I have ever been to. Have Fun!

Oh!! i am so jealous! i have actually been on this ship be for carnival cruise lines are the best there is always something to do and always something to eat!! i have been on a couple cruises in the summer time and it usually not very hott on your days aT sea there is a cool breeze plus theres i think on this one two pools? to keep you cool there is always something going on. as far as shows,being able to eat! games theres a basketball court ahh anything you can Imagina there are many comfortable places on the ship its just like you are in a big hotel. hope you all have alot of fun! and as for going with alot of people if thereS some you really don't want to see you don't have to!! the ship is so big i barley saw some of the people i went with till dinner! again HAVE FUN!!

When in the summer? I usually cruise in June and absolutely love it. Perfect temperatures. However this last year we were unable to go until late August and I vowed that won't happen again. Too hot to lay out and with hurricane season, you have to avoid places and end up with a lot of rain. Plus it seemed a lot of the islands close down for August. I was shocked (having taken several cruises in Dec and June) the number of places that were closed down in August. A good number of the shops and restaurants were closed the whole day.

In June/July however, there is a great breeze all day long. You can be outside all day and never feel "hot". Plus with so many people outside by the pool, if you are a casino or art auction person, they aren't that crowded. In August with the rain, they were very crowded.

The weather is quite close to the same year round in the Caribbean. In December, it was hot enough to lay out in a bathing suit. In June, it is still perfect weather to lay out in a bathing suit. However do bring a sweater or sweatshirt. The art auction room is freezing on every ship I've been on. The only complaint about summer cruising is you do have way more kids roaming freely on the ship after the 2nd week in June.

Well I went on a cruise last year on the Carnival Liberty in Jan. it was nice yes it can get cold on the ship cuz they AC it so much. I'm going on the carnival Glory this month and it's supposed to be niicee. I wish I can answer it but I'm leaving in 17 days so I can't but it's supposed to be like the Carnival Liberty so I think it's just as nice. lol. I'm going on the western 1 too. lol. Well have fun!!!
