My boyfriend and I have been on the Carnival Legend for 7 days and loved every second of it! It went to Cozumel, Isla Roatan Honduras, Belize, and Grand Cayman. The islands and Caribbean are beautiful. Carnival itself was unbelievable too. You are going to have an amazing time wherever you go, but I would seriously consider Carnival as they cater to married couples and younger crowds who want to get away and have a great time. There is always something to do and you will not want to leave!
We booked through cruisesonly.com and got a really great deal and their prices are very competative.

i went on vision of the seas with royal caribbean last summer to the mexican riviera. it was great fun and the port was out of long beach and i live close so we just had to drive up to long beach and park our car. i think royal caribbean is fairly priced and there are so many fun activities. you definitely get your money's worth food wise. if you are looking for a deal and since your young and it will be your first cruise i reccomend carnival. a lot of younger couples cruise with carnival and it is fairly priced. i am cruising with adventure of the seas this summer! can't wait!

Getting ready to go on cruise #3. Carnival each time because of scheduling. Check out vacationstogo.com they have a schedule so you can choose a destination based on when you want to leave. Most destinations are roughly the same, beaches, snorkling and shopping. Congrats to both of you and enjoy!

My first cruise was a 7-day cruise through the Eastern Caribbean on Holland America's Maasdam. I have also taken Holland America ships through the Western Caribbean and to a different set of islands on another Eastern Caribbean cruise. I've particularly enjoyed cruises on Cunard's ship Queen Elizabeth 2, now retired -- a westbound crossing, from New York to LA through the Panama Canal, and through the Mediterranean. I really look forward to sailing again with Cunard, and am more interested in the Queen Victoria than the Queen Mary 2. My next cruise will be on Costa's ship Fortuna from Ft. Lauderdale to Genoa, Italy. For a first cruise, I think a week in the Caribbean would be lovely! You can find a lot of very good information on the various cruise lines' web sites, and get great brochures sent to your house or from your travel agent. My family has enjoyed Princess cruises a lot!

seabourn, silver seas, crystal, princess, holland america.

for the summer, the best choice is mediterranean because it is the best time.( june-september)

or you can go to places like the tahitis, bahamas, or other warmer places! (:

We done our first cruise last year the mediteranian (jewels of the med) on the thomsons spirit we went to france italy barcelona etc.
this year we are going on the thomsons celebration ,the med again but this time to corfu greece athens turkey etc , we had a fantastic time and the staff cant do enough for you ,food and entertainment first class.

I went in 2006 to the Caribbean, Puerto Rico and Bermuda. It was a 9 day cruise and it was on the Princess Cruiseline. It was amazing!

Do not go to Jamaica. I hated it. I think Southern Caribbean, Grand Cayman or Bermudais perfect.
