I took a Carnival Cruise some years ago. They cater to anyone aboard. I did not care for the cruise. I felt captive after a while. Unless you wanted to lay out by the pool, there wasn't much to do all day. In the evening, they did have some pretty good entertainment. I did like the "ports of call", however, everything felt "rushed" in the ports as we only had about 8 hours and then had to be back aboard. I should mention that the food was excellent and the adult beverages were very expensive. So, if you're one to lay out in the sun, I would recommend you give it a try, otherwise,all inclusive island trip is the way to go. |

i think cruiser liners are great a lot of time they are cheaper than flying to your destination straight. i went last year with my husband to the bahamas and we went by carnival. all meals are included and a lot times so is your airfare. i honestly think they carter to everyone equally from my observation. |

Hi,
October 2008 ..we cruised with Carnival Splendor for 12 days from Rome.
Cabins were great ..we had a balcony suite..staff wonderful.
Decor horrible .
Food horrible..
We had to line up for food if we did not go to the dining room..approx 1 hour wait..complete shambles.
Cruise ship far too large with over 3.000 passengers.
Excursions were changed after they were booked and not worth the money we paid..
Never again ... |
