I was on a Carnival cruise and they gave away three cruises. You had to buy tickets to be entered in to the drawing. They gave away your choice of 3, 4, or 5 day cruises. I think they said that you still had to pay taxes, transportation, food and drink on the ship, and etc. They didn't give a liitle room though, it was an ocean view room.

They always charge you a port fee and sometimes a service charge too. Beware!

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. The only people I would trust such an offer from is one of the cruise lines directly. Even if the ad states that it is free, you will probably still pay port charges and taxes and whatever you spend on board.

Nope never won a cruise but I won a free weekend in Jamaica at Hedonism 3 but I had to pay service charges US$100 and I wonder why they call it "FREE!" better they say reduced charge weekend

They are not scams....I work for a line and I have booked the winning guest before. You will pay taxes (like anytime you win something) and you get usally the lowest available cabin in the type of room you won. If you choose to get a better cabin then you would pay the difference between the two cabins.

Yes, you'll pay... unless it's a reward from the company you work for and you just landed a great account for your sales department!

usually they are scams

it's too good to be true!!!! ( unless you don't have a saint with you!!!)

yeah and it wasn't free. I ad to pay the airfare and a "small promotional fee" of 399.00 per person- not very free is it?

If it is a real all you should have to pay is:
transportation to the port, taxes, Port fees, and Tips (tips about $10- 15 a day)
Food is included!!!!!!!!
only thing not included is alcohol and specialty coffees at shop.
