Have you experienced cold weather on a Caribbean Cruise?

I was looking at the weather forecast for the places I will go to on my cruise. In Miami highs in the low 60s lows in the 40s and Cancun high in the low 60s, the Bahamas are only in the 50s. I know this is colder than normal but really scares me. I am spending thousands of dollars to go to a place with cold weather. Have you ever had cold or chilly weather on your cruise that left for places south of Florida?

unexpected weather is always a risk on any vacation and should be planed for the best you can, such as have emergency rain ponchos before you go they are a $1 at wal-mart and can be $5 + when you need them or not even available. have been rained on twice in Cozumel, but did not let it spoil my fun. As far as chilly weather is to bring a sweater is easy and recommended on the ship at night because of wind.
it is a good idea to check the weather reports the day before you go and plan the best you can, that way you can be ready and still have fun.
We prefer to travel between Sept - Dec as we get the best prices and fewer on the ships, Dec in the Bahamas was in the high 80s and Sept in Cozumel was like summer in Florida.
I have also had my cruise change ports due to hurricanes (the price for booking in Sept, but we knew that)

Last December we took a crusie to Key West and Cozumel. It was pretty cold with only one day you could lay by the pool. I skipped the snorkeling becasue the water was rough. Also we had alot of rain.

Hmm, thats really odd,---I have experieced Rain in October and Jan. but it was never COLD...

Check weather.com for the 10 day forecast.

It's probably just a fluke and hopefully will warm up before you get there. No I've never had cold weather on a cruise but I have gone when it rained alot and I agree, that would be very disappointing.

Once--but dont whine. I just got off the Norwegian Dream that struck a runaway barge and was stuck in Montevideo for 4 long days and missed 3 ports on our trip around Cape Horn.
