Windjammer if at all possible... more expensive but... it is once in a lifetime
I would go with Carnival, Royal Carribbean, or Princess for mainstream lines.
Alot depends on what you look for.... is it about partying? (carnival) is it enjoying the food and relaxing and being pampered? (Princess)is it about being active? (Royal Carribbean)
Are you happiest on the ship or in Port? (itenerary is more important if at port)
For my wife and I it was Princess.... and itenerary is really important to us.... Eastern or Southern..... St Thomas, St Martin and Barbados are at the top of our lists.... Princess ultimate Lobster dinner is something not to be missed... they served a 5 course lobster dinner on our balcony at sunset .... something we will remember forever! |

If you want to party, Carnival.
If you want a little party and a little calm, Royal Caribbean.
Go western or southern Caribbean. It's nicer. |

I have only been on Carnival, and would reccomend them to anyone, but have also heard good things about Royal Carribean. Royal Carribean is about $100-$200 per person more for identical cruises that Carnival takes, although they do offer more onboard ammentities such as onboard surfing, ice skating, rock climbing, etc. If you are just going to relax and have a few beverages, Carnival is the way to go. As far as Carribean vs. Bahamas-- I think either ports of call are great, that is just personal preference. I just recently booked a cruise with Carnival going to both Nassau and the Virgin Islands (which is considered Eastern Carribean), so it's kind of best of both worlds. The best thing you can do is check out some cruise reviews and see what people think as far as the ships AND the itineraries are concerned... a bad ship going to good ports doesn't make for a good vacation. Check around on prices because the cruise industry is so overgrown with agents that they will beat most of each others prices until it can't get any cheaper!!! I have listed several good websites below to check out... hope you have fun! |

try carnival just if your going with them make sure you look at the details on the ships because i know theres on ship that all it is, is a bunch of drinking at night and stuff that only adults can do and some are very kid oriented so look at what there is to do on them but most of them do go there and lots of other fun places .. hope this helped! |

Disney!
seriously, its not just for kids. its the most fun you will ever have on a cruise!
they have cruises that go to the Bahamas, to the US Virgin Islands, and to Key West and Cozumel. and they ALL stop at Disney's private island. |

Carnival for price and activities (newer ships with 7days are best ships) shorter cruises can be rather old ships that will be smaller and not as much fun. Royal Caribbean is cool for adventure activities, but can be spendy. Princess is great for relaxing and pampering and the price is normally good. Disney does not have a casino on board and there will be A LOT of kids, although there will be a lot on most of the ships. Princess and Royal Caribbean also have a private island day on their cruises, which is pretty cool. I would say the Caribbean either western or eastern would be a lot of fun. Find a friend though to go too, the cruise lines do not have single discounts other than the portfees. Have fun. And Congrats on graduating! |

We did the Disney Caribbean and ported in the Bahamas as well as Castaway Cay, Disney's private Caribbean island in the Bahamas. We took a cab to Atlantis Hotel in Nassau and it was nice, but not worth it. They had a casino and an enormous aquarium. We are not really beach people and one day at the beach was good enough for us so we didn't do the beach excursion in Nassau. Not really into shopping either, so that really doesn't leave much in Nassau. So, if we were to port in the Bahamas again, we would probably stay on the ship. The locals don't consider that the Caribbean, but I think we Northern Hemispherians do sometimes! Carnival is the party ship, if that is what you are into. Royal Caribbean is a little more upscale. Disney was first class all the way, also. Have fun. |

My opinion is to head to the southern Caribbean or eastern Caribbean and go with Carnival without a doubt, Carnival. You'll have a blast. There's a lot of drinking and pool games, but you can either join or watch and still have fun. They've got great bars at night for your age group too. You'll be able to gamble too. You'll need extra money for drinks and gambling...fyi.
Try this site for some great cruise deals: iBtraveling.com It's where I usually find a cruise or air tickets.
Have fun and don't forget to buy your own snorkel gear here so you'll can snorkel for free once you get on the islands! |

Our travel agent told us that Carnival Cruise Lines is the best "party boat", while Royal Caribbean really spoils you. We chose RC because it was our honeymoon, and we had a blast, drank a ton and really were pampered.
My only recommendation in regards to destinations is to stay away from Jamaica. The port is a drug infested dump. No good shopping and not much to see.
I hear if you stay in the resorts in Jamaica then it's great but not as a stop on a cruise!
Happy Sailing! |

Try the Titanic. I heard they had underwater excursions. But choice #2 is either Disney or Carnival Cruises. |

Well, this is just my opinion but I wouldn't go on any CRUISE...
The last couple of cruises got their passengers sick with a stomach virus and had to keep them on board until they were better...not my idea of fun I guess!
