I'm going on the Norwegian Spirit on August 23 for 8 nights out of Manhattan, NY. It's going to San Juan, Puerto Rico & Tortola, British Virgin Islands & Samana, Dominican Republic. They're all in the Eastern Caribbean, warm climates. The only thing is that they're only suites left since the cruise is so soon, & it's pretty expensive, $3,099, but if you have the money then definitely go for it!

I did a search at the below website and found two cruise itineraries for August leaving from NY and NJ. The earliest is August 3, the last one leaves August 25, with several dates in between.
You can search on their website by date, and departure city, so I'm sure you can find the right cruise for you.
Here are the two I found both still have cabins available:
Royal Caribbean Explorer Of The Seas 5 nights, American Atlantic.
Bermuda cruise sailing round trip from Bayonne, New Jersey (New York City).

Very late for booking a cruise in August, especially from NY/NJ [not a lot of ships from there], but you can go to VacationsToGo.com and search for cruises that meet your criteria. It's a good site to use to search for cruises, whether or not you want to book with them because it's so easy to use. |
