Some cruise lines do not allow discounts by other vendors. Royal Caribbean and Carnival cruises, you will not find it cheaper at other websites.
So what do other websites companies do? they offer incentives, such as Free Gratuities, Free insurance, $50 to $100 onboard credit for booking with them.
I have used expedia.com, ecruises.com, cruise.com, Royalcaribbean.com to book cruises before. They all have their advantages and disadvantages.
If you are a last miniute cruiser, then you can try lastminutecruises.com for something that weekend, if you can travel with that little of notice.

We always used Walmart Travel(what don't they do now a days). We always have gotten the best prices and they even have a layaway sort of deal. Also places like BJ's or Sams Club.
