The Canary Islands are volcanic. Are you doing much hiking? This month the average temperature is a high of 73 and a low of 55. Personally that means I'd carry some jeans and somethings to layer. Some tshirts and some long sleeve shirts.
It's not a very big island so I doubt you will be doing much dressing up, much formal evening things. The volcano does go up to over 2,000 ft so it's probably a significant amount colder at the top.

just back from teneriffe canary islands take heavy cardigan or light fleece and jeans for mornings and nights thro the day and when sun is out you will need light clothing and sunbathing gear have anice trip

Take a staple item such as a dress, that can be worn for different occasions when dressed up or dressed down with different accessories. Make sure you take a hat! Think about what you're actually going to wear and try not to take anything if realistically you're not going to wear it.
