Honeymoon Royal Caribbean?
We are getting married the day we are leaving on the cruise for our honeymoon? I was wondering if it is ok just to wear what we wore to get married in until we get on the ship? It is just a little dress below the knee and heals. And he will have on dress clothes. Is it ok to board the ship like that? We will have already checked out of our hotel so we will not have anywhere to change clothes.
YES you can board in those clothes BUT, when you get to the port to check in the porters will take your luggage and put it through a scanner (like at the airport) before or as it goes on the ship. Then it will be delivered to your cabin. That's why you will be given tags for your luggage with your cabin number and location on it. Many times the luggage does not get to your cabin until the ship sails or in some cases well after, like 7:00 or 8:00 PM.
So unless you carry a change of clothes onto the ship in a carry on (you should do this ...... the ship will scan your carry on just like at the airport, but they do not prohibit liquids and will not confiscate your makeup and stuff) you will be stuck in those clothes all afternoon and evening. You will want comfortable shoes to walk around the ship and most areas you cannot go bare foot. You will also need the carry on for the last night of the cruise when they request/require that you put your luggage outside your cabin by 2:00AM so they can start taking it down to be off loaded when the ship reaches port. So you will need something to carry your toiletries and night clothes in.

Congratulations and enjoy!

That should be fine. Royal Caribbean has no dress code regarding boarding. Just make sure you get there on time they don't wait.
