Never pay any website money to "find" you a job. I've worked for a Major cruise line for 4 years. I sent in my resume to there HR from there website.

Ross, I would suggest that you first determine what kind of job you would like to do on a cruise ship, then you need to have some qualifications to suit that job and give you the chance to compete and apply for it and hopefully get, I know you mentioned you have 4 years experience under your sleeves as a holiday rep, but this wont be a great help unless you work for the head office for a cruise liner and not on the cruise itself, wish you all the best of luck.

Cruise Line Job is a great job, especially for a young, single person who wants to see the world. You learn responsibility, getting along with others, and hard work. And if you don't go crazy buying souvenirs you can even save some money. For third-world people, earning a few hundred dollars every week in tips makes them wealthy in their homelands.

Just ask any crew member to tell you honestly how he likes his job. They will almost all say they love it and would not quit. In most cases, they would not even change much about it. Do they miss their families? Of course, but that is the life. It's not for everyone, but it's better than most people expect.

You need to go to the official cruise line web sites. There you will find a link to jobs, employment, human resources or some such link that will give you information about their positions.

Do some research, find out where the head offices are and send them paper CV's as well as Emailing them

I work on the cruise ships and I would suggest as some of the others have said, contact the main cruise lines and find out more. Also on the company web sites there are buttons to the vacancies, but all are not apparent, some are called 'about us' etc. so keep searching. I also contacted a company that supplied a very good guide book with job profiles, how to get work, contact addresses etc and you got a bi-monthly news sheet with all latest vacancies. They are based in Glasgow, so plug it into a search engine, they were helpful. The service does cost a few quid but in my mind well worth it.
But be prepared for some long work hours and not large pay as itâ€™s made up with tips in the areas you are looking at.

The other thing to think of is 10 hours a day is a good day in some jobs on the ships with 11 and 12 being more like it, with the accommodation and bar work, other jobs have less work time, or if you have experience in something and get offered a supervisors position, or go for administration on the Pursers side of life, the working hours are less. but the company I mention will check your CV and suggest the options.

You need to go to the cruise line web sites. There you will find a link to jobs, employment, human resources or some such link that will give you information about their positions.

DO NOT use any other web sites that require you to pay a fee to register or get job information or referrals. Some cruise line sites may have current vacancies they are recruiting for. Several cruise lines have new ships coming out soon so opportunities will be there. Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Disney and some others will have new ships launched in the next couple years.

Carnival is the parent company for several cruise lines including Carnival, Cunard, Princess, and Holland America. So contacting Carnival will likely get you leads to the other cruise lines also.

Then Royal Caribbean cruise line is a partner with Celebrity and Azamara. So contacting RC will likely also get you leads to these others. Royal Caribbean has very good information about its positions. So if you go there first you will know what most ships have. Then if you have further questions you should write a letter to the cruise line and ask them; they will respond.

Another thing to do is to contact the concession that run the shops on the ships like the souvenir, gift and clothing shops. These are the companies that hire the beauty shop/spa employees for ships. Below are links for you.
