How can I find a job on a cruise ship this summer?
I am seventeen years old and I am interested in working full time as a lifeguard on a cruise ship this summer. I have had three years experience as a lifeguard and I believe that I am qualified for the job. The only problem is that I do not know how to apply for such a job. Does anyone know how I can apply for this job?
First off most cruise lines don't have lifeguards. 2nd...the 1st answer saying to try Royal Caribbean is wrong because I know for a fact they don't hire till 21 years old. Which is how most cruise lines are. The ones that don't can't hire till 18. But you can go to the cruise lines website and find their career pages. Try contacting their employment directors directly and tell them what your telling us here. They can give you better information then I can. Sorry but i think your going to have to wait a few years.

Cruise ships DON'T HAVE LIFEGUARDS... do you have any OTHER skills they would be willing to pay you to perform.?
Highly Favoured
I do not believe that they might need a lifeguard but you can still try. You are a bit young since the legal age is 18. Try the ship's agents or their website. Go to a search engine and type in 'work on cruise ship' and look at the various sites.
