How can I tell if a "free cruise" is legit? |
I got a call saying I won a free cruise. It is for 3 night in the Bahamas, includes American airlines airfare to get me to Miami where it leaves from, and also includes meals and non-alcoholic drinks. It is for 2 people and they are saying all I need to pay is $189 in taxes. How can I be sure this is real? |

i got the same call today because i did a sweepstakes for a car a month or so ago. what company did they say they were from? I'm a little skeptical myself, i go tomorrow to talk to them and check it out. let me know what happens with yours. |

OK, how can a free cruise cost $189? If it is Imperial Majesty or Ramada I suggest that you stay far away. Remember you get what you pay for |

If it mentions Imperial Majesty its a scam. Its an old rust bucket and the "free" airfare ususally requires you to buy one get one free type of deal. You can get a better cruise for less money, and yes they pressure you for your credit card number. Try vacationstogo.com. I have used them and been very happy. They are an online travel agency. Or shop around with cruisecompete.com |

Call the better business bureau. A lot of these offers come from timeshare companies and they spend the whole vacation trying to get you to buy a condo. |

NOTHING IS FREE! that said if you have to pay the 189.00 upfront its probably a scam. If its a promotional deal then you can easily find out the truth by calling the cruise line. |
