How can people go on a cruise every year or so? |
i'm wondering how ppl go on cruises every year or so
i just came back from norweigan spirit today and ofcourse i had a lot of fun but not enough to want to go back again and again
there's nothing new ya know, there's food and drinks, and ice cream and everything but it gets boring after a few days
i ate sooo much icecream that i'm pretty tired of it
today morning, i wanted us to get home soo fast, and my mom to make some homecooked food soo baaaddd
it was nice to go, how many ppl can say:
i went on a 7-day cruise to the bahamas at age 14!
ppl in my native country never dream of this(india)
i am so glad i had this opportunity but i don't wanna spend money to go on a cruise again
if someone offered me a free trip on a cruise, i'd take it without a thought but not by paying for it
i'd rather go somewhere else the next time
in fact, we're planning to head to florida again just for disneyland as we hear its a 4 day thing |

Well the main problem is that you went on the Norwegian Cruise line's Spirit. I have cruised on that ship among my many cruises. That is a rather dinky ship that is old and has been renamed from when it was originally launched in Asia as the Star. If you had paid attention you would have seen the plaque on the ship with the name "Star". Aside from the rather small area on the back of the ship for kids with the water slide and water cannon, there's not much else on it for kids to do. The ship cruised in Asia at one time and so when you board you think you are in China or something because of all of the Oriental art works all over the ship.
NOW, on the other hand, if you had gone on a Royal Caribbean ship like the new Freedom Class, OR, the Voyager Class you could have had the opportunity for much more fun. These ships all have the rock climbing wall, free ice skating, a full sized basketball/tennis court, a mini-golf course, and on the Voyager Class free roller blading, and on the Freedom Class you could have used the surfing simulator called the "Flowrider". Then as a teen you would have been able to go to Adventure Ocean and hang out in the teen disco called "Fuel" which is free and open until 2:00 AM every night. And then you probably also would have enjoyed the H2O Zone water park on the Freedom Class ships.
And then if you had gone on the Royal Caribbean ships you may have had an opportunity for the beach party on Royal Caribbean's private island, Labadee. You could have enjoyed the beach, gone jet skiing, or done a zip line over the beach.
So you just went on the wrong cruise ship to get a sense of all of the fun that you can have on a cruise. |

Cruiser

There are tons of different cruise lines and even more different cruise ships. Each have different activity's and such. There are hundreds of destinations.
The possibilities are endless. I would cruise each day if possible. |

Cruising is more about going into the different ports each day. The ship is really just your hotel on water. Also when you are in the working world you want to relax, and a cruise is the perfect way. I travel alot, sometimes on cruises, sometimes not, and it is easiest to see the most places by cruising. There's no hurrying to the train station or airport (once you're at your ship of course). There's no trying to figure out where your hotel is, dragging luggage onto trains, taxi's, etc to your hotel, |

im thirteen, we usually go on one a year, but this year were going on three.
We just got back on one on June 28.
Were going on one in Decemeber & then another one in like may, june, or july.
It's just sorta a personal get-a-way for people!
Especially People with Kids & olderpeople.
the Younger Crowds and Old crowds usually go on one or more a year b/c it satisfies the 50+ people and The parents get Satisfied and They know it's the perfect vacation for a kid.
Hope i helped.

Cruising-you are either ''hooked'' and never contemplate any other holiday or think ''so what?''
Silver Service in the restaurants, entertainment and lovely days at sea.
So much to do you end up doing nothing-bliss. |

I go only 3-4 cruises a year, plus a few other vacations...i find a cruise a wonderful way to see other places and only having to unpack once...my daughter who is now 13 has been on 3 and chose a cruise over a week at Disney (of course we are still going to Disney)...everyone choose what to spend thier extra money on which is an awesome choice for people to be able to make...i hope you have fun on your next vacation |

I go on one almost every year
the ships are always changing an there's always new stuff so you never get bored plus one trip will never be enough to explore the whole ship

Wow - I cruise 4 or 5 times a year, and don't really want to travel any other way. While the cruise experience may be similar, the ships are all different, and their are so many different iteneraries, I never get bored.
But that's just me. |

some people just don't feel the thrill of cruising... I for one could go every month if i didn't have to work to pay for them .. I feel the thrill !!!! I have taken the same cruise a couple of times and even that was tons of fun. so either you love it or you don't sorry for you.. but your not alone some of my past group members didn't really enjoy it.. and never came again.. last January I took two cruises in a row one week out of L.A. and the next week from San Diego.. |

When you get older and your interests in things expands, you will understand how people can go on a cruise every year. I am 4 times your age and probably interested in 40 times as many things as you are. It is all relative.
