How do I get VIP access on a Carnival Cruise Line.?
I have booked a cruise for this January and I was wondering if there are any promotions or deals that are being offered where you can get priority boarding on the boat.
Carnival offers VIP status to past guests with 10 or more cruises or through the Carnival Vacation Club.
The vacation club was a huge rip-off and Carnival has cut their ties with them.
You may want to arrive at the cruise terminal early in the boarding session. That may cut down on your wait time to board but keep in mind, most of the cabins are not ready until about 1:30 pm or later so you are waiting around in the common areas until the cabin floors are open.
Lessons learned from our last cruise...don't carry on too much luggage. You have to lug it around while you are waiting for your cabin to be ready.

You can call Carnival instead of a travel agency and ask them. I know that first time cruisers do not get VIP passes unless you are staying in a suite. If this isn't your first time cruising with Carnival then I would call and ask cause you should get some kind of past guest promotion.

We had VIP access as a result of signing up for the Carnival Vacation Club. That's where you purchase points that are worth approx. 2 cruises. They even deliver chocolate dipped strawberries to your stateroom!!!
