I can only speak for Carnival Cruise lines for my answers...First, if you get caught with it on the cruise hidden inside your luggage then they only confiscate it. They do not kick you off the ship. I have gotten alcohol onto a cruise a few times by putting clear alcohol like Vodka into an empty Listerine (or other mouthwash) bottle. Drop a few drops of food coloring in it and you are good to go. They also make opaque bottles of Listerine now so you could probably even fill those with other colored liquors. The minty smell will be there still if the bottle is opened and checked. You are also allowed to bring 1 750ml bottle of wine per person on the ship anyway for free. Just don't forget your wine bottle opener! They charge $10 in the dining room to open it for you! Hope this helps!

Whatever that is dont do it. If youre busted (and the security checks are more simular to airport security theesedays) then youre off the ship. So if you wanna have a nice holiday dont smuggle anything. Beside I do think that this question is against yahoo answers rules... Johan

best way is to put it in a soda bottle in your checked bags. I puy J.D. and coke in diet coke bottles. mix it strong and don't bring too much .. just make sure the soda colors are right and you will get away with it. some folks say water bottles but they don't seal as well as soda bottles.
