Most cruise ship companies have websites where they list their job openings. My daughter lives in Houston where she has easy access to apply for many cruise ship positions, cargo ships positions, oil companies, etc. So...it is very easy to get those jobs if you are located close to the shore. The pay is great, but I would suggest you go for a well-known company and do a little research before you committ to anything. If you get a job for an unknown company you may be asking for trouble.

All the cruise lines have job application links on their web sites. It is awesome to work on the ships, all the people you meet, places you see.
Just remember that it is very hard work and almost non-stop for about three months at a time.

If I were you I would send my CV and cover letter directly to all the cruise line companies. They often advertise in the papers for those jobs too. Keep watch for online job websites too. The great thing about working on a cruise ship is you avoid paying tax.

Type in type of job, then worldwide, then cruise......see my other 'question' I have given you further info..

I have worked for Princess and P & O cruises on and off for the last 12 years and can assure you that most contracts are a MINIMUM of 4 months often more. You can go the their websites and they will advise how to apply for jobs at sea.
Be prepared to work EVERY day and don't expect to be able to get off every port day. YOu will need to expect to share a cabin usually with bunks and if you work in the bars in your off duty time you will NOIT be able to fraternise with passengers unless you are ashore i.e no deck priviledges. If you are entertainement staff you will be able to be above decks when not working howver there are VERY strict guidelines you must follow about behaviour and curfews. Dont expect a great wage but you will get to see some of the world.
Many people love life at sea BUT many people have trouble adapting, and take a while to get their sea legs,
Good luck

See if they have openings, and apply just as you would for any job.

write to all the companies with a CV etc, some will answer back to you.

Try this website for information. The cruise personnel that I have been in contact with tell me there is a requirement to attend a special program before hiring. This website may help you answer your questions.
